Starkholmes Village Hall, 107 Starkholmes Road, Matlock DE4 5JA
On foot from Matlock
The Village Hall is a fairly short (about 30 minutes), but quite steep, walk from Matlock town centre. From Matlock, walk to the other end of the park, away from town, passing the play area on your left. You will come to Knowleston Place. Walk straight on, then turn right over a small bridge. Ascend the hill (Stoney Way) with St Giles church on your right. At the top of Stoney Way turn right on to Starkholmes Road and continue up the hill. The Village Hall is at the top of the hill on the left, opposite the turning to High Tor Road.
By Car
If travelling by car, be aware that there is some on street parking on Starkholmes Road near the hall. There is also a small car park directly in front of the hall.
By Bus
There is a very convenient bus stop for the Village Hall directly opposite on Starkholmes Road. The bus stop is officially described as ‘Starkholmes, opposite High Tor Road’. The first link below gives the bus timetable. There is also a link to the Traveline journey planner web site.
