This is what we’ve been planning for the jubilee weekend! 2022 also marks the 70th anniversary of Starkholmes Village Hall!

Presented jointly with Matlock Rotary Club, this quiz has been delayed for some time by the Covid pandemic, but we are now pleased to say that it is rescheduled for Friday, 16th September for 6:30 pm (quiz starts at 7:00). All welcome!

All welcome to this fascinating insight into the life of the swift. An evening not to be missed for all bird lovers.

We sadly have to say goodbye to Jeff Wheatley, the President of Starkholmes village hall, who is leaving the area. Jeff has served the hall for over 30 years since moving to Starkholmes in the early 1990s. We thought this lovely print by local artist Sarah Parkin would remind him of the many years he has spent living in the area.

All best wishes to Jeff for the future in his new home.

The Village Hall would like to set up a separate Events Committee to plan new events and perhaps resurrect some old favourites. Anyone with any suggestions or able to help out in even a small way is very welcome.
